Rongali Bihu Celebrations! Rongali Bihu is celebrated during the month of April. AAD members celebrate this Assamese festival every year. Usual highlights are egg fight, bihu dance competitions, singing competitions and much more.

Release of Samayik by Guests & Members Assam Association Delhi publishes two important periodicals - The Joga Jog which is a monthly and Samayik is a half-yearly. Both the publications have significant readership.

Bhogali Bihu Brings People from All Age Group Together Bhogali Bihu is celebrated zealously by the Assamese community in Delhi. The festival of delicacies, merriment and lighting up of the “Mezi” creates an atmosphere of unity. The festival also marks the annual sports meet organized by the Association.

Eid Milan Brings the Society Together

Eid Milan in Delhi Eid Milan another festival which brings everyone together. The occasion is celebrated at Srimanta Sankaradeva Bhawan every year. The Holy Quran is read followed by Qawwali singing.
